Yasin Ozcelik is a Professor of Information Systems and
Operations Management at the Dolan School of Business, Fairfield University. He obtained his Ph.D
degree in Management Information Systems and master's degree in Economics both
from Purdue University.
His research interests include economics of information systems, business models
in electronic commerce, business value of information technology, and strategic
use of information technology to improve firm performance. His articles has
appeared in journals including Journal of Management Information Systems,
Information Systems and E-Business Management, International Journal
of Business Information Systems, International Journal of Services and
Operations Management, International Journal of Project Management,
International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector, and Journal

His research was also published in several books and appeared in the proceedings
of prestigious international conferences, including Americas Conference on
Information Systems (AMCIS), European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS),
Midwest United States Association for Information Systems Conference (MWAIS),
Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences Conference
(INFORMS), EURO/INFORMS, and Decision Sciences Institute Annual
Meeting (DSI).
He taught courses at Fairfield University and Purdue University, and received
three awards for distinguished teaching.
